George Berean

George Berean brings an international approach to design and management which is based on his extensive experience throughout the Pacific Rim, his role in opening a London office, his recent experience as managing principal of the Hawaii office, and his worldwide network of contacts.
George has been a speaker of numerous international, national, and regional events covering topics, such as cultural heritage preservation, exporting design services, resort design considerations, and the changing market place in Asia, and an introduction to Feng Shui. His 30 years of practice at an international scale allows him to be of unique service to his clients. George stays actively involved in the design and management of new projects including: hotels, resorts, condominiums, marinas, golf club-houses, retail, renovation, and mixed-use projects.
In the past 20 years, Mr. Berean mainly focuses on China. In this country, projects planned and designed by them have over 150, 32 of the projects have completed. He not only participated in designing most five-star hotels in Hainan, also designed leading hotel brands globally, those include Ritz-Carlton, IHG, Hyatt, Marriott and Hilton. Mr. Berean used to cooperate with top developers to plan and design many mixed-use projects, his clients include Poly Group, Jinmao Group, China Resources, Zhuhai Huafa, and etc. He master controlled architecture design and landscape, supplied integrated design services.
Since retired on 2006, Mr. Berean has been assuming the adviser of WATG, and his consultation company B.S.E. supplies prophase development consultation service. At present, Mr. Berean involves in EvenDesign's projects as company's contract architect.
